Vend IT have joined forces with a highly successful high-street salon-chain owner to develop an e-business solution that will provide 'cutting-edge' hairstyling products and accessories.

The range will include the industries best-selling brand names such as GHD, TIGI and Bed Head. The project is a joint-venture that will enable Vend IT to deploy the latest e-marketing tools and techniques to increase sales and profitability - and in doing so drive up profit share.

For launch, Vend IT will design and develop a business-to-consumer e-commerce website with a suite of self-administration tools. The website will operate as a stand-alone e-business and therefore order taking and stock management will be provided on top of the administrative systems required to maintain the product range, promotions and marketing effort.

The website will be supported with 'E-Shot Manager' to drive traffic and sales via email marketing campaigns.

The website will be launched in 2009.
