Full Integration

Business rules are preserved and a single source of data maintained.  Data uploads from SAGE to the website are configurable by type of data and frequency

Website Resilience

Continued operation when connectivity to SAGE 200 is lost, using locally stored data (e.g. products, stock levels etc). Some dependant features would be disabled

Browse by Product Type

Configured and maintained in SAGE and uploaded to the website on schedule, allowing product categories to be added or deleted without further development. Navigation structure will be defined by the data in SAGE

Browse by Brand

Navigating products filtered by brand, including Brand Shopping index

Product Attributes

Group products of different sizes and colours (or other attribute) together and display as a single Style, with the ability for the user to choose the appropriate option

Product Keyword Search

Product code or word(s) search against defined product data (e.g. product description, additional product content).

Advanced Search/Product Filters

Top-level Category, Brand and Price-Range filters for search.

Static Content Pages

Admin function to maintain text and image content not held in SAGE (including SEO content in product route) such as Terms and Conditions and About Us brochureware content

Extendable Product Data

Extend product data that can't be held in SAGE with a simple Web Control Panel so that products can be described and tailored specifically for the website

Show customer specific pricing using the pricelist and discount rules set up in SAGE

Toggle for display of VAT inclusive/exclusive prices. Site-wide variable to switch on or off as parameter

Uses quantity break data set up in SAGE against a product for bulk purchasing

Cater for new customers and offline account customers within SAGE

Zoom and detail Product Images

Display multiple images for any single product in a larger format

Stock Availability

Handle multiple stock configurations, E.g. In Stock (product can be viewed and added to basket - actual stock figures can be displayed numerically if required), Out of Stock but back orderable (product can be viewed and added to basket if product is set as back orderable and appropriate due in date message displayed), Out of Stock (product can be viewed but not added to basket and appropriate due in date message displayed).

Search Engine Friendly URLs

Back Order Taking

Checkout Process

Customers choose delivery address, delivery method (from SAGE service codes), supply payment details (authenticated by a secure PCI compliant Payment Gateway Provider such as Protx, Cybersource, Commidea, Paypal or Google Checkout) or 'pay' on credit account.  Customers are always clear about what they are purchasing, when the order has been submitted, and what they can expect the next action to be in the process
